About us

Bihar Heritage Development Society (BHDS) was established by the Government of Bihar in 2010 through the resolution no. 31 dated 22 January 2010 of the Art, Culture and Youth Department for the preservation, conservation and promotion of the tangible and intangible heritage of Bihar. It is a registered society (Regn. No 302 of 2010-11) under the Department of Art, Culture and Youth, Government of Bihar. The Society is committed to facilitate activities for protecting and popularising the heritage in Bihar and to synergise the efforts of different agencies working in this field.
